1. Who processes your data

The data controller is the operator of the O Deals service available at https://odeals.net. For any questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@odeals.net.

2. What data we process

We process in particular:

  • identification and contact data (for example name and email),
  • account-related data (for example password hash and profile avatar),
  • technical and security data (for example IP address and consent timestamp),
  • data about your preferences within the service (for example tracked game lists),
  • for Facebook login, data provided by that service (for example name, email, avatar).

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing your account and the service: performance of a contract.
  • Security, abuse prevention, and technical operations: legitimate interest.
  • Marketing emails and updates: your consent.

4. Marketing consent

You provide consent by actively checking the consent checkbox during registration or login. For accountability, we store the date and time of consent, IP address, and consent source (registration/login).

Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time by email at info@odeals.net.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data for the duration of your account and then for the period necessary to protect our rights, comply with legal obligations, or resolve legitimate claims. Consent records are kept for the duration of consent and for a reasonable period afterward to demonstrate legal compliance.

6. Data recipients

Personal data may be shared with hosting providers, email providers, and other processors that support technical operation of the service. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Czech Data Protection Office (www.uoou.cz).

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access, or misuse.
